Delete your TROUVE account

You can permanently delete your TROUVE account and personal data at any time. It's quickest in the app; if you can't open the app, ask us by email.

Option 1 — In the app (immediate)

1. Open TROUVE and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to your Profile tab, open the menu, then tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you have bookings that are still requested or coming up, the app shows them first so you can cancel or finish them — bookings are shared records with another person.

Option 2 — By email (if you can't use the app)

Email us from the email address on your TROUVE account:

Request account deletion

Include your username if you know it. To protect your account, we may reply to confirm the request came from you. We complete deletion requests within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your account, sign-in details and phone number
• Your profile, business profile, services and photos
• Your posts, videos, stories, comments, reviews and portfolio
• Messages and chat photos you sent
• Your follows, likes, saves, collections and notification settings
• Any verification documents you uploaded

What we keep, and for how long

• Bookings: the other person keeps their copy of a past booking, showing only the name you had at the time.
• A record of your deletion request (date and status), kept as proof that we honoured it.
• Safety records such as reports and moderation decisions, kept up to [SAFETY RETENTION] to prevent repeat abuse, or longer if the law requires.
• Backups: deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to [BACKUP DAYS] days until they are overwritten.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual posts, comments and messages in the app at any time, change or remove your profile details, and turn off usage statistics in Settings. For anything else, email support@trouve.world.
